Bunting Bearings offers a complete line of stock plain bearings, flange
bearings and washers made of P/M bronze. Bunting sintered bronze stock bearings
have long conformed to ASTM chemical and physical properties, and are the first
to include all ASTM standard sizes to ASTM recommended dimensions and
tolerances. After forming, sintering and sizing, the nachi bearings are vacuum impregnated with SAE 30 oil that
provides lubricant which is metered from the bearing to the shaft during
rotation. Standard off-the-shelf oil impregnated bronze bearings should function
satisfactorily in temperatures ranging from 10°F to 220°F.

Bunting Bearings powdered metal sleeve (plain) bearing is formed and sized
to SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) 841 specifications for supporting
radial and axial loads. It has been sintered with powdered metals for strength,
durability, and corrosion resistance, and it is vacuum-infused with SAE 30 oil,
which remains in the pores of the bearing to provide lubricant from the bearing
to the shaft during operation. This plain bearing has a maximum load value of 2,000 psi (pounds per square inch), a maximum
velocity value of 1,200 sfpm (surface feet per minute), and a maximum
load-at-velocity (PV) value of 50,000. It operates in temperatures ranging from
10 degrees F to 220 F (-12 degrees C to 104 C). Designed with a regular straight
bore, this bearing fits to conventional cylindrical shafts. This oil-filled
powdered metal sleeve (plain) bearing is for use in various applications such as
heavy-lifting equipment, pumps, aircraft, and motors, among others.
Plain bearings (with no rolling elements) are used to handle radial or
axial loads by providing a low-friction motion between two surfaces as shafts
rotate or move back and forth through the center of the nsk bearing. The most common types are bushings (also called
bush), with a sleeve or flanged design, and are measured by their bore (inside
diameter), outside diameter, length, and width (thickness). Plain bearings are
used in automobiles, construction equipment, medical applications, railroad
